What should I do if I have not received my green card in the mail?
The fact is that in case you do not receive your card on time – you can request a new one. In order to request a new green card, you need to get in touch with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and request another card. To succeed with the request you need to file Form I-90 to USCIS. However, it should be mentioned that you need to be sure that more than 30 days have passed since USCIS sent the green card to you. The fact is that in most cases it takes up to almost a month or so for the card to be delivered back to USCIS in case it hasn’t reached the receiver.
It must be mentioned that you should check your local post office to make sure that there is no mail to be delivered waiting for you. In case you own an online account with USCIS you can easily track the card if it was sent back to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
