Form Is Used for
The I-9 form is obligatory for any employer who hires both US nationals and aliens for working inside the country. When filing the form, the employer needs to review all the documents regarding the employee’s right to employment and to check whether the individual is eligible to work, as well as whether his or her documents are authentic and valid. The complete set of documents that can be accepted is listed on the last page of the form. The results of the inspection must be recorded on the I-9 form.
