Download the I-821 application form for a temporary protected status. There are a couple of conditions under which you can apply for temporary protected status or TPS. You must be a citizen of a certain country designated by the Minister of National Security (Secretary). Please note that even if USCIS provides you with a TPS, this does not mean that you become a lawful permanent resident or have received this status.
