Download form I-508, a request to waive certain rights, privileges, privileges and immunities. Form I-508 is used by non-US citizens working in international organizations if they:
• Legal Permanent Residents;
• Non-immigrants in A, G, or E status who want to change their permanent resident status.
To revoke certain diplomatic rights, benefits, and immunities that are associated with their professional status, including any exemption from paying US income tax on wages paid by their foreign governments or organizations. This form complies with section 247 (b) of the Immigration and Citizenship Act.
Permanent residents of such professions who do not refuse benefits and do not pay their income taxes in the United States can be transferred to A, G or E status.
Non-immigrants with status A, G, or E who do not refuse benefits and do not pay their income taxes in the United States may not be able to change their permanent resident status.
